Pastor’s Biographical Information
Ronny Harrison received Christ as his savior in 1981. After graduating from Surry Community College in Dobson, N.C., Ronny worked as an electronics specialist for AT&T Technologies in Winston-Salem, N.C. While working at AT&T he yielded to God’s call to be a preacher of the Gospel. Pastor Harrison attended White Plains Bible College in North Carolina where he earned the Bachelor of Religious Education, and Master of Religious Education. The educational resume’ was completed with the Doctor of Divinity which he received in 1989. He served for six years on staff with Dr. Carl Lackey at his alma-mater as professor of Bible and Church History from 1987-1992.
Ronny Harrison became pastor of Landmark Baptist Church in September of 1987. He and Mrs. Harrison were living in Pilot Mtn., N.C. at the time with their infant son, Chad.
Known for his in-depth Bible-teaching and heart-stirring preaching, Pastor Harrison has made sound doctrine and practical Bible preaching the center-piece of the public services at Landmark.
He is the founder and developer of Landmark Baptist Bible College and Landmark Baptist Academy. He is also a frequent speaker in revivals, bible conferences, and special services in other churches in several states.
Pastor Harrison and his lovely wife, Donita, have been married for over twenty-five years and have four children. Their oldest son, Chad, is a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana, and serves on staff at LBC as Assistant Pastor. Their oldest daughter, Hannah, graduated as an education major at Hyles-Anderson College. Their two youngest children, Nathan who graduated Champion Baptist College in Hot Springs, AR with a degree in Business and Kaylin, who currently is a student at Landmark Baptist Academy.
